Kidd's Drive-In Reviews
Kidd's has been a place that my family had eaten at for the last four years. This is your local diner that sells the usual hamburgers/hot dogs/chicken wings, etc. If you're looking for fancy - this is not your place. But if you're good with sharing a table with a stranger or someone you know, you'll have a nice meal with good conversation. They're still cash only, and they have the ATM inside in case you didn't come prepared. The food comes fast, which works great for my littles. They have table and counter seating, although both are limited. Yes, we come here to eat, but a whole star of this review is for the company you have while eating. It might be a church member that you know, or some of the family from the Homeland Creamery down the road, or just a local person who you find out serves in the Honor Guard, but the company is always good at Kidd's.
Great lunch today, great service. Double Cheeseburger with fries. Great fresh tomato lettuce and onion on the burger. Glad I stopped in!
Kidds has been here a long time, a lot of people have been coming here their whole lives. It's a very local kind of diner so if the place is full; feel free to share a seat with someone - this is normal here as the dining room is small. Cash only also; they do have an ATM. Pay at the register. Don't forget to tip, the servers work hard as there is normally only a few on hand and they have to serve the dining room, the parking lot/walk up window, and a robust carry out business. If you're interested; Kidds is still an old fashioned drive in so if you want service in your car they still do it but give them some extra time. They recently added a walk up window which I prefer as it's faster and easier. The food is diner food and pretty good for most things. I love the burgers here but some people don't. They are thin patties so don't be afraid to get a double if you're hungry. The cheese dog is something unique and great also. Otherwise the diner style plates are all pretty good.
The food here is decent for comfort food. The prices are very reasonable. It's cash only, so be prepared. There is an ATM inside of you didn't bring cash. The people are ok. Some are nice. The only thing I have to complain about is getting out of their parking lot. You either back into the highway or park in the adjacent lot.
